The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the purchase of gift cards (“Gift Card”) from Star Hospitality Group Limited (“Star”). A list of participating establishments can be found at https://www.stargroup.nz/venues
By using or purchasing a Gift Card, you agree to these Terms.
If you allow another person to use or take possession of your Gift Card, that person will also be bound by these Terms.
In addition to these Terms, you also agree to be bound by all terms and conditions of participating establishments, where applicable. In the event of any conflict between the two, the latter shall prevail.
All decisions by Star in relation to the Gift Card shall be made in its sole and absolute discretion, and all decisions by Star are final.
Purchase of a Gift Card
When you purchase a Gift Card, either through the website HERE or through a Participating Establishment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Star may vary these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on our website. If you already have a Gift Card and you are unhappy with any changes to the Terms, then the Gift Card balance will be refunded upon request as long as you make that request prior to the expiry of the Gift Card.

Please follow the link provided for details on what information we collect and how we use it. By providing us with information about you or any other person, you must be authorised to provide such information, and you agree to be bound by our privacy policy.
Delivery of gift cards will be by courier for a flat fee, stated https://stargroup.ecardsolutions.co.nz/buy/ and will be on a signature-required basis. Delivery will be to New Zealand addresses only and will usually be within five working days (excluding rural delivery). Star cannot guarantee the delivery time of the gift card. A $2.00 processing fee will apply to any gift card purchased online. An additional surcharge of 2% will also be charged for purchases of Gift Cards that are made by credit card.
Gift Cards are redeemable at any Participating Establishment. Gift Cards may not be used for any other purpose, and will be void and not be redeemable if they are defaced, mutilated, altered or tampered with in any way.
Each purchase made with a Gift Card is as if the purchase was made by way of cash payment. Gift Cards may not be redeemed for cash; they are not legal tender, account cards, credit or debit cards or securities.

The validity period of the Gift Card is reflected at the back of each Gift Card. After expiry, the Gift Card is no longer valid. All transactions will be declined, and any outstanding balance will be forfeited to Star. Any unused balance left on expiry will not be refunded.

Star takes no responsibility for Gift Cards purchased or used without permission. If written notice is provided within 30 days of a gift card being lost, damaged or stolen, a refund may be processed at Star Hospitality’s discretion. Change of mind purchases or returned gift cards will not be refunded. Gift Cards should be stored securely, as any person holding the Gift Card may be able to use it to make purchases. Where a purchase has been made, that is then required to be refunded, the balance redeemed will only be refunded back onto the same gift card used in the initial purchase.
In the event that the Gift Card is misplaced or stolen, it is the responsibility of the intended recipient of the gift card to contact Star and notify us. Please ensure to take note of the serial number of your Gift Card at the point of purchase, as this is needed to enable Star to grant a replacement card that contains the balance funds that were present in the misplaced.
Star is not a party to any purchase contract using the Gift Card and are not liable for and make no warranty regarding the availability, quality or fitness for purpose of any goods or services purchased with the Gift Card. Gift Cards can be redeemed for food, beverage and Star hosted events excluding third party ticketed events. The bearer of a Gift Card may not consolidate the balances of several Gift Cards onto a new Gift Card.
Star may, in its sole discretion, place a stop on the use of a Gift Card if a Gift Card is reported to us as being lost or stolen, or if we believe it may be used contrary to these Terms of Use, or contrary to any applicable laws or regulations.
